A chance to celebrate the work of young filmmakers from the BFI Film Academy Short Courses in Leeds and Bradford.
Over the last three months, 40 young people aged 16-19 have been taking part in the BFI Film Academy Short Courses in Leeds and Bradford, run by Leeds Young Film. They have been learning the skills, knowledge and contacts to bring their stories to life and get support to break into film.
The course, now in its 13th year, includes sessions delivered by expert industry mentors, hands-on filmmaking experience and the chance to meet and collaborate with like-minded aspiring filmmakers as well as gaining the NCFE Level 2 qualification 'Preparing to Work in the Film Industry'.
This premiere event is the chance for the young filmmakers to bring their finished films to an audience.
