Fire of Love (PG)

The love story of intrepid scientists Katia and Maurice Krafft, who captured some of the most spectacular imagery ever recorded of their shared passion: volcanoes.

Katia and Maurice Krafft loved two things: each other, and volcanoes. For two decades, the daring French volcanologists roamed the planet, chasing eruptions and documenting their discoveries. They left a legacy that forever enriched our understanding of the natural world.

Director Sara Dosa and the filmmaking team fashion a lyrical celebration of the scientists’ spirit of adventure, drawing from the Krafft’s own stunning archive. Fire of Love tells a story of primordial creation and destruction, following two bold explorers venturing into the unknown, all in the name of love.
