Two kids play a magical board game, with the help of a man who has been trapped inside its dangerous world for decades. See it for £3 at our Kids’ Club screenings.
A magical board game unleashes a world of adventure on siblings Peter (Bradley Pierce) and Judy Shepherd (Kirsten Dunst). While exploring an old mansion, the youngsters find a curious, jungle-themed game called Jumanji in the attic. When they start playing, they free Alan Parrish (Robin Williams), who's been stuck in the game's inner world for decades. If they complete Jumanji, the kids can free Alan for good – but that means braving its dangerous and chaotic world, including giant bugs, stampeding rhinos and an evil big game hunter (Jonathan Hyde).
Screening to coincide with Yorkshire Games Festival at the National Science and Media Museum, Jumanji is one of the quintessential ‘90s kids’ films and a bold, exciting celebration of the immersive world of board gaming.
Kids’ Club: These screenings are open to all families with children, but are particularly aimed at families with children under 12. Unaccompanied adults will not be admitted.
