Licorice Pizza (15)

Writer and director Paul Thomas Anderson explores the treacherous navigation of first love in this endearing coming-of-age tale of two unlikely lovers growing up in 1970s California.

Licorice Pizza is the story of Alana Kane (Alana Haim) and Gary Valentine (Cooper Hoffman) growing up, running around and falling in love in California's San Fernando Valley over the summer of 1973.

Alana Haim (from the band Haim) and Cooper Hoffmann, the son of the late celebrated actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman, make their big-screen debuts and are joined by Bradley Cooper, Sean Penn and Tom Waits.

Licorice Pizza is ‘Paul Thomas Anderson’s funniest and most relaxed film yet’ (The Guardian).
