This month our volunteer programmers have chosen the ultimate comfort film to help us get through January.
A fairy tale adventure about a beautiful young woman and her one true love, who must find her after a long separation and save her. They must battle the evils of the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with each other. Based on the William Goldman novel The Princess Bride, this film is an ultimate cult classic and a delightful mix of swashbuckling, romance and comedy that takes an age-old damsel-in-distress story and makes it fresh for every viewing.

Volunteer film programming
This screening is the second in a series of events by our young programmers, a group of local cinema lovers screening films they want Bradford to see. Our volunteers Lauren, Maverick, Haider, Patrick, Jenifer and Armaan wanted to screen a film that offers pure comfort in what is otherwise a dreary month. The Princess Bride is just that with its delightful story, charming characters and pure 80's cheese.
