Kids’ Club: Missing Link (PG)

This globetrotting animation tells a charming, family-friendly story about discovery and friendship, all wrapped up in a wonderful reimagining of the Victorian adventure genre.

Tired of living a solitary life in the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Link (Zach Galifianakis)—eight feet tall and covered in fur—conscripts explorer Sir Lionel Frost (Hugh Jackman) and adventurer Adelina Fortnight (Zoe Saldana) to help find his long-lost relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri-La.

Missing Link is another wonderful triumph in stop-motion animation from Laika Studios (Coraline, Kubo and the Two Strings). Painstakingly animated across over 100 sets, Laika’s animated world is a true technical achievement, creating lush forests, vibrant deserts and frozen peaks for their hand-made travelogue voyage.

Kids’ Club: These screenings are open to all families with children, but are particularly aimed at families with children under 12. Unaccompanied adults will not be admitted.
