British Science Week Schools Day

With a live science show, workshops and group challenges, this day-long learning package will help your students hone their problem-solving skills.

Learning to problem solve is a valuable skill for life, as well as the basis for tackling other disciplines such as science, maths and coding.

This specially curated day-long learning package, part of British Science Week, will challenge your class to solve a variety of problems. They’ll test their skills and learn new methods and approaches that will help them achieve their full potential in STEM subjects.

First, your students will enjoy a live science show in our Pictureville cinema. You’ll learn about the first ever computer programme, the breaking of the German Enigma machine and the maths behind the first successful rocket launches with bold and fun science demos.

This will be followed by a personalised itinerary of in-depth workshops, small group challenges and access to our unique collection. A visit to our Games Lounge, lunch space, and resources to take back to the classroom are all included.

Our team of expert Explainers will inspire your class and encourage them to develop new skills while they learn through participation and fun, giving them a day they’ll never forget.
