This special event will help year 8 and 9 French students develop new ways of learning through film.
Using the BFI’s DVD of French short films, Cine-minis, this study day will help students develop interactive ways of learning through cinematographic techniques. They will learn more about film language while consolidating prior knowledge of French vocabulary and grammar.
The event will include an introduced screening of a feature film suitable for this age group. The event will be conducted in French and students will be encouraged to speak in the target language.
This event is aimed at Year 8 and 9 students.
Teachers who are not accompanying students may also attend at a cost of £10 per person.
