Parking
- Coach Parking: Please note, if you are traveling by coach, we don’t have any coach parking spaces on-site. Coaches can drop off groups at the front of the museum and park nearby, on Nelson Street, Midland Road or Sharpe Street, and the driver needs to stay with the vehicle. Download a map of coach parking locations (PDF).
- Car or Minibus: The closest car park to the museum is Sharpe Street, though this has a vehicle height restriction of 2m. There are several other car parks within walking distance of the museum. View a list of car parks in Bradford city centre.
On the day
- Please arrive at your stated admission time (or at least 15 minutes before your first activity). This will allow you to orientate yourselves, store your bags and make the inevitable toilet visits.
- We currently have limited storage space for coats and bags. If you have made a picnic space booking, you will be assigned a storage cage on arrival. If you have not made a picnic space booking, we may not be able to accommodate your belongings.
- If you have booked a picnic space, you will have this for 20 minutes. Please tidy up after yourselves.
- All areas of the museum are wheelchair accessible. Find out more about accessibility at the museum.
Exploring the museum
- Children of all ages must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during your visit.
- Unless when booked as a specific activity, your time exploring our galleries is self-guided—we cannot offer tour guides.
- If you have scheduled time in our galleries as part of your itinerary, please note this is not an exclusive booking and these spaces remain open to other visitors.
- The museum is a shared public space. Please remind your group to respect other visitors, exhibits and museum staff. Poor behaviour could mean that people are asked to leave.
- Some of our galleries are currently closed while our transformation through our Sound and Vision project continues.
