Light Day

Embark on a journey to discover the science of light in this day-long package. Your group will enjoy a science show and visit to Wonderlab, with amazing optional extras including an eye dissection session.

WONDERLAB 

DURATION: 30 minutes
GROUP SIZE: Maximum 80

Visit our most interactive gallery and get hands-on with science. In Wonderlab, students can investigate how light and sound work through an amazing range of fun, interactive exhibits. By experimenting, playing and exploring, they will learn about how light and sound are the building blocks of the technology we use every day.

Light It Up! SHOW

DURATION: 25 minutes
GROUP SIZE: Maximum 110

Embark on a journey to discover the illuminating science of light in this interactive science show. Find out how to take the perfect picture of the universe, uncover the hidden dangers of Egyptian tombs, and more—all through the power of light. There’ll be opportunities for your whole group to participate, as well as team competitions.

Eye dissection

PRICE: £2 per person
DURATION: 25 minutes
GROUP SIZE: Minimum 5; maximum 40

Ever wondered how the eye works? With our eye dissection session, students will get up close to this incredible organ—and learn how it relates to the workings of a simple camera. Your group will see real science in action, examine the different parts of the eye in close detail and have the opportunity to ask questions.

IMAX 3D: Superpower Dogs

PRICE: £5.50 per person
DURATION: 47 minutes
GROUP SIZE: Minimum 30; maximum 190

A spectacular 3D documentary in our IMAX cinema—the biggest screen in West Yorkshire—is an exciting and visually stunning treat for your students. In Superpower Dogs, narrated by Chris Evans, you’ll meet some of the world’s most remarkable dogs and discover the astonishing science behind their superpowers.
