Groups visiting on Tuesday–Friday during term time can reserve a 30-minute slot in our indoor picnic space to eat packed lunches.
If you would like to reserve an indoor space to eat your packed lunches:
- Groups visiting on a Tuesday to Friday during term time must add 'picnic space' to itineraries when booking.
- At weekends and during school holidays the picnic space cannot be booked. It is shared with general visitors and is available on a drop-in basis—please see our list of upcoming school holiday dates.
The picnic space is the only indoor area at the museum where you can eat packed lunches. Food and drink are not permitted within our galleries.
