Students can explore space in these special days for schools as Tim Peake’s spacecraft lands in the museum.
On June 18 2016, after six months orbiting Earth on the International Space Station—during which he conducted experiments, walked in space and even ran a marathon—Major Tim Peake returned to Earth in the Soyuz TMA-19M descent module. Now, this historic craft is coming to Bradford and will be on display at the National Science and Media Museum.
Space Days is a day-long package that includes the opportunity to find out more about the Soyuz TMA-19M module, take part in an interactive science show that explores light and space travel, and visit Wonderlab.
Space Days are available to book during term time between Monday 2 October and Friday 17 November 2017.
