Covering the years 1957–1998, Birth of the Cool presented both iconic work and unknown masterpieces from David Bailey.
The exhibition featured personal works never exhibited before, along with the pantheon of 1960s media heroes including Mick Jagger, Andy Warhol, the Kray Brothers, Catherine Deneuve and Sylvia Plath.
