A Belle Vue Studio Historic Bus Tour

When: Wednesday 29 May, 12.30–16.30
Where: Meet at the museum

Jump on a vintage bus and go on a journey through Bradford Museums and Galleries’ Belle Vue Studio collection.

The tour starts (and finishes) at the National Science and Media Museum, from where we’ll take a vintage bus ride to Bradford Industrial Museum, the home of the Belle Vue Studio collection, and back.

You’ll explore photographs, stories and equipment and get a tour of Bradford Museums Photographic Archive, where curators and archivists will be available to answer your questions. Then you’ll have the opportunity to have your very own studio portrait taken. Plus tea will be served!

This is a free event, but booking is required as spaces are limited. To book, email julia.ankenbrand@scienceandmediamuseum.org.uk.

Telling my story

A family craft workshop in collaboration with Biasan

When: Saturday 15 June, 14.00–16.00
Where: Makespace, Level 4

What does it mean to be you? How does where you’re from and where you live affect how you see yourself?

Join us for this free creative workshop. Express yourself and make your very own self-portrait in the form of a paper collage. You can take your finished collage home, or choose to add it to our Above the Noise exhibition.
