Oli and Phil are the two-man team behind BAFTA-winning Ghost Town Games. They’ll discuss starting their own studio and making Overcooked a surprise smash hit.
The Yorkshire Games Festival is proud to welcome Ghost Town Games to Bradford to talk about the making of their frantic multiplayer bake-em-up title Overcooked.
Ghost Town Games are a two-person team: Phil Duncan and Oli De-Vine. They’d been designing and making games together at Frontier Developments (one of our other special guests this year!) for five years before finally deciding to strike out on their own and explore making games together independently.
Their debut game Overcooked was made from their lounge, and recently took home the BAFTAs for Best Family Game and Best British Game. (They have since upgraded to the spare room.)
