Yes. Anyone who wishes to attend one of these events must book a free ticket as the link to view the event will be sent via email.
You only need to book one ticket per device for Open Talk virtual events. If members of your household would like to watch on more than one device, please book more than one ticket using different accounts and email addresses.
Events as part of Open Talk are recommended for ages 14+.
Yes, Open Talk events are suitable for Key Stages 3 and up. The talks will also be recorded and made available afterwards for you to use in the classroom.
No, you do not need to book a museum admission ticket to attend an online event.
When you book a ticket, you will have the opportunity to submit a question. A selection of audience questions will then be posed to the speakers.
If you can no longer attend an online event, please call us on 033 0058 0058 (line open 09.00–17.00 daily) and our team will be able to return your tickets and give your place to someone else. Unfortunately we are not able to refund donations.
If an event is cancelled or rescheduled for any reason, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.
If an event is rescheduled, your booking will be automatically updated in your account. You can log in to your account to view your online event bookings at any time.

Once you have booked a free ticket, you will be emailed on the day of the event with a link to watch the event, which will be hosted on our online booking system.
