Student Widescreen Film of the Year Competition

Awards for the British and International Student Widescreen Film of the Year will be presented as part of this celebration of new and exciting widescreen filmmaking.

The Student Widescreen Film of the Year Competition is one of the premier international events for showcasing young, emerging talent working with widescreen filmmaking technology. This unique competition strives to celebrate widescreen film and technologies within all genres. Previous entrants have spanned a range of methods including documentary, animation and short clips.

This year’s competition received hundreds of submissions from around the world. Join us as we show a selected shortlist of films competing for the prestigious Student Widescreen Film of the Year Award.
